Hussam Maroouf is a poet, novelist and editor. He is the winner of the Mahmoud Darwish Museum Prize for the prose poem (2015), and also received the Bodour-prize from the Turkish foundation for cultural development Bodour the same year. His last book “The death of the smell of glass” was published in 2016,
