A new, welcoming language in a time of crisis

Peter Waterhouse (AU) and Uljana Wolf (DE) will talk about Paul Celan and the poetics of witness poetry, and what it means to write poetry "on the threshold". They will discuss the importance of witness poetry for their own work, and German contemporary poetry. In the time of the worst refugee crisis since the World War II, we need a true language of ”the other”. The talk is in collaboration with Goethe-Institut and the Embassy of Austria in Norway. Moderator: Ingrid Kvamme Fredriksen.
