Karoline Ruderaas Albrigtsen (1991) was born and raised in Tromsø, Norway. She has a background in jazz and improvisational music, but her passion for music and performance stretches far beyond genres or disciplines. She has a bachelor's degree in musicology, and is also part of the contemporary vocal ensemble Oslo 14, vocal duo JØGER, as well as doing backing vocals for popular music bands, such as kildaphew. This in addition to her own solo concert performances as a vocal artist. 

Chollada Phinitduang (1990) is a dance artist from Rossfjordstraumen, Norway. She graduated from The school of New dance in Oslo, 2014. She has since then worked as a freelancer, mainly as a performer and creator of dance art. Her work focuses on collaborating with artists from various fields and exploring the different forms that evolves. Most of her work and activities are based on political and social aspects on how to choose your way of living. Among the artists that she has worked with are Christina René, PAC, and Ingenting.

 

The duo EKTE FOLK works with creating and exploring spaces that involves a meeting between movement and sound. In these landscapes they challenge each others artistic fields and forms of expression, in a conceptual manner. They create a conversation using a language available for multiple senses, and focuses on friction in the themes and tools that concerns them.
