Aeron Bergman
(Detroit, 1971) is professor of Digital/Sound/Installation. He studied a Master in Art History at the University of Toronto and then a Master in Art at New York University.
He works in an idea driven intermedia practice, combining aesthetics and politics.
Bergman co-founded publisher Lucky Kitchen, and has had solo shows in art centers
such as the Centre d'Art Santa Mónica in Barcelona, the Museum Serralves in Porto,
the Centre D´Art Contemporain in Geneva, Roda Sten in Goteborg, and major group
shows such as at the ICC in Tokyo and the Taipei Fine Arts Museum. He has done sound
performances at art centers such as the Palais de Tokyo in Paris, and de Appel in
Amsterdam. Bergman has published 15 solo audio CDs.
